Raised in Riverside, Cheryl Miller is a key figure in women's basketball. She joined the USC women's basketball team in the early '80s and immediately ascended to fame with 3,018 career points, 3x Naismith College Player of the Year, and 2x NCAA Championship. Miller is the first basketball player at USC to have their number retired. First-ever, meaning women's and men's basketball.

While injuries forced her to hang up her shoes, it didn't stop her from dominating other realms. Miller was the head coach and General Manager of the WNBA team, Phoenix Mercury, from 1997-2000. She's also a Hall of Famer, broadcaster, and Olympian.
